El Vestíbulo
El Vestíbulo (The Vestibule in English) is the new, remodeled and expanded gallery space that Taller Puertorriqueño brings this summer to the Cultural Heart of Latino Philadelphia.  Nestled in an non-traditional ambience within a lively commercial corridor, El Vestíbulo is the doorway to a whole new world of art that celebrates Latino & Puerto Rican arts and culture with an innovative proposition.

Located in the entrance hall of the Julia de Burgos Book and Crafts Store, this ante-chamber represents Puerto Rican and Latino painters, sculptors, and photographers, both established and emerging, whose alluring artwork will mold into the space instantly drawing your attention, captivating you by the way the artists’ body of work speaks to you, and purposefully inviting you to a constant dialog.

The exhibitions run on longer but not set cycles and are experimental and responsive to the artists’ vision and the uniqueness of the space.
