Best known for his large scale installations, Pepón Osorio merges conseptual art and community dynamics. Osorio addresses social realities to uncover experiential individual stories. TEIMBOL, a popular word meaning time out in Puerto Rico, suggests a moment of reflection from the daily drama of life. The exhibit brings awareness of the realities and impact of violence. In doing so, silence is transformed and given creative expression.
