Feria del Barrio
Celebrating 25 Years of Arts, Education and Community
FERIA DEL BARRIO serves as one of Philadelphia's largest celebrations of Latino music and culture -- the only one celebrated in the heart of the Latino community. Feria del Barrio is a free family outdoor festival for the entire family, Latinos and non-Latinos alike, featuring children's activities, arts, crafts and some of Latin America's most renowned musical artists.
The 25th annual Feria del Barrio will take place Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008 from 12:30-6 p.m in El Centro de Oro (North 5th Street Between Lehigh and Cambria Avenues), and will commemorate 25 years of success in arts, education, and community development.
Feria del Barrio is done in collaboration with Congreso del Latinos Unidos, the Hispanic Association of Contractors and Enterprises, and Raíces Culturales Latinoamericanas.
